Will text stay selectable?
No. Compression here turns pages into images, so text is no longer selectable. Use it for scans, or run OCR afterwards to make the text searchable again.
Which setting gives the smallest file?
Lower DPI and lower JPEG quality. 100 to 150 DPI is often enough for reading on screen.
Are my documents uploaded?
No, everything is processed on your device.
