Questions and answers
How accurate is it?
Printed, well lit text at a decent resolution is usually read very accurately. Blurry photos, unusual fonts and handwriting reduce accuracy.
Can it read handwriting?
Not reliably. It is designed for printed text.
Are my scans sent to a server?
No. Recognition runs in your browser using WebAssembly.
